Fan communities and events in New Mexico

Welcome to FandoNM

This is a social network for New Mexico's fandom communities, including science fiction, fantasy, horror, anime, comics, gaming and more! Find local events, join a group, start a blog, chat with fellow fans, and get involved!

How do you pronounce it? You can ignore the 'N' and just say 'fandom'. You can look at it with an auxiliary verb, 'fan do New Mexico', as in what fans do. Or you can interpret it as 'fan Dō', the Way of the Fan. In any case, it's about fandom, and it's about New Mexico.

Albuquerque Gaming Community

I've been a member of the Albuquerque gaming community for (on and off) twenty years. In that time I'm met a bunch of great people (and those that make you want to screen prospective gamers somewhere other than your house...) and have had several good groups. That said, gaming tends to be a hobby where people often meet by chance, or through friends that game -- a sort of whisper down the alley of who might play.

One of the first things I did upon landing back in the Duke City was to chec… Continue
